Engaged: Kali & Erik: Vermont

When you are meant to be with someone, no matter the circumstances or odds, cupid has a way of working his magic in order to insure that you end up with that person. Such was the case with this sweet couple who made their way through the crowd to find one another and now travel the distance each weekend to be together. It is true love like this that leads to a lifetime of happiness. :)

Devin and I met up with Kali and Erik on possibly the last perfect day of summer. It was hot and sunny and pretty much the perfect day for their grand photo finale! I was even tempted to pass off the camera and join them! :) Enjoy. xo Kaht

This image just describes their love for one another, sweet and beautiful.

Kali just has this gorgeous smile that is highly contagious!

Erik's watch belonged to his grandfather and Kali's diamond was once Erik's grandmother's. I love when couples incorporate sentimental items into their new life together!

Now...Erik has a BIG yellow truck. And he loves this yellow truck nearly as much as he loves Kali :) They told me the story behind the yellow truck which made me adore them even more! You'll just have to trust me when I say, it was a good story :)

*love*

Highlight of my day! Standing knee deep in the cold river water to catch this shot. It felt so nice! Devin was on standby to catch me if I slipped :)

I sure do love those red shoes!

Hmmm, opposing teams?

Caught cuddling!

And the grand finale!

Thank you for a fun afternoon K&E!

The pictures are beautiful. I really like the one of you two on the bench even though I think Erik's smile is more of a laugh. I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to witness such a relationship from the beginning. It is now perfectly clear how a good relationship, a harmonious relationship, is initiated and matures. Erik never had to tell me that this was something good. Erik never had to tell me that he knew it would last. Erik never had to tell me he was in love. Even when the relationship was young...anyone could see the beauty and the love.

jcr - All the pictures are good. I like the one with the brook & also the ones with the mirror. Also, I liked the one with the watch 7 ring. It's a good thing they didn't miss the pool! They do make a beautiful couple!

Erik and Kali, all of these photos are great. I love the picture in the Dodge. It's good you didn't get the pictures in the Toyota since you probably wouldn't fit. That's assuming it didn't catch on fire, fall apart, or seize up first.

Joseph, thank you for the beautiful words! Very true about these two. :)

The mirror was fun to capture and Erik let me sit in his truck, which had AC!

Lucky for me, they were quick changes! And I got the chance to re-hydrate while they switched :)

Beautiful pictures! I loved all the photos but I especially liked the black and white photos both on the bench and the moments captured in the mirror.

I wish you two all the best in your lives together. You're both very kind-hearted and wonderful people to know, and I'm proud to be acquainted with you both.

Here's to happily ever after!

My favorites were the ones with the barn and the pair where you see each holding the other's hand. The barn does a great job of giving you setting and scale.

And, who wouldn't love Erik's truck?

Beautiful.

THis is a really strange experience for me...I first met you hours after you were born and fell in love with you and your smile then. Now seeing you and Erik together about to start your life together it makes me love you all the more. My favorite photo is the black and white with Erik giving you a kiss from behind. Loved them all really. NIce to see you in the river and jumping in Nanas pool. Love you guys. B

I expect my sister, the "mother of the bride" to be a sap but who knew the aunt of the bride would be a sap too! I look at these pictures and I cannot believe how wonderful you turned out! Your beau is really special, your humor contagious, and your choice of venue brilliant :-) Please post the picture of Nana jumping in the pool-she said she did that. ? See you soon.

Great photos, Kali! I especially like the romantic on in the mirror, kissing against the red barn door, and the one of the 2 of you next to the pink and red button mums (you are wearing black and white). Awesome!
